Are you aware that following a storm, it is essential to conduct a comprehensive inspection of scaffolding and complete the GA3 form, ensuring it is signed before utilising the scaffolding.
Given the current high winds, the recommendation is that scaffolding must be inspected thoroughly by a competent person and any necessary remedial works carried out. If the inspections shows that the strength or stability has been affected by weather it is vital that ties, boards, sheeting and access are all examined and any corrective actions taken. All forms should be signed, dated and note of any actions taken included. A copy of GA3 is available to download here.
