
This is a short term contract role – 7 weeks starting Monday 29th April based at the Aviva Stadium.
The successful candidate will perform the following duties
Ensure compliance with current legal requirements, minimize risks and promote a positive health and safety culture on site
Preparation and revision of RAMS, safe operating procedures, daily permits, toolbox talks etc.
Provide advice, guidance and instruction in all health & safety matters to management and employees (including sub-contractors where appropriate)
Compliance auditing (regular formal site audits and inspections)
Ensuring proper and thorough reporting and investigation of the causes and circumstances of all significant H&S incidents, reportable accidents and dangerous occurrences
Delivering Health & Safety induction programmes for new employees or sub-contractors
Maintenance of ISO Management systems to ISO 45001, 9001 & 14001 standards
·Identifying areas of risk and developing measure to reduce and control
This role will be based on site in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin 4 D04 K5F9.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have 3rd level qualifications in health & safety
Ideally 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably gained in construction, but recent graduates will also be considered.
Computer literate
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 18:00 (Overtime may be required)
A competitive hourly rate is available
