Updated COVID-19 National Protocol for Employers and Workers.

While advice to employers to keep people safe remains largely unchanged and core public health measures remain crucial.  In order to aid this safe return to the office, The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment has published an updated “Work Safely Protocol” as thousands return to their workplaces.

Measures such as maintaining the requirement for physical distancing, the wearing of masks and ventilation remain critical to preventing the spread of COVID-19.

This updated document sets out the minimum control measures required in every place of work to facilitate the re-opening of workplaces and is a vital resource for employers in ensuring they have considered all appropriate control measures.
